Human Capital Business Partner

About the role

This role provides input into Business Unit and Segment People Plans, focusing on developing and implementing tactical HR people plans to drive organisational effectiveness. It partners with senior management teams, implements HR plans and advisory services, and may manage a small team of HR professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance on all HR processes and practices.
• Lead recruitment, selection and employment in collaboration with Business Unit Heads.
• Facilitate employee consultative processes and monitor action plans.
• Support performance management, conduct audits and ensure consistency.
• Produce monthly MIS reports and support growth, retention, and manpower planning.
• Drive culture, transformation, change management, organisational design and development initiatives.
• Implement and maintain HR policies, incentive and recognition plans aligned to strategy.
• Identify HR risks and trends, develop prevention measures, and support IR processes.

Required profile

• Namibian citizenship.
• Relevant Human Resources degree.
• 4‑5 years experience in a generalist HR position.
• Excellent communication, customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strategic and lateral thinking ability.
• Conflict and change management expertise.
• Knowledge of talent management design and implementation.
• Computer literacy with strong numeric skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and travel as required.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, organising, presentation and communication skills.
