General Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The General Manager for OMLAC Retail Operations will lead the regional channel management programme and drive the execution of the business strategy. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for expanding key partner relationships and enhancing the customer experience across the retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a regional channel management programme aligned with business objectives.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with key channel partners.
• Sell complex, customized products and services to major customers and oversee a sales department.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies for a core portfolio, addressing market challenges.
• Manage a portfolio of mission‑critical contracts and oversee the broader contract management function.
• Provide leadership, communicate strategy, motivate teams and ensure alignment with the organisation’s mission and values.
• Prepare and deliver budget plans in collaboration with senior colleagues.
• Administer incentive programmes for external partners and handle dispute management to minimise operational disruption.
• Design and deliver training programmes, including leadership development initiatives.
• Monitor team performance, set objectives, and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Identify development needs and implement professional development plans for team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior commercial or retail management roles.
• Proven track record in strategic partnership development and negotiation.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement pricing and budgeting strategies.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
