General Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and reliable General Assistant to support daily operations in our store. You will help keep the environment clean, stocked and welcoming while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness of the store, kitchen and restroom areas in line with OHASA standards.
• Receive deliveries, unpack, stock shelves, conduct stock counts and ensure attractive product displays.
• Put up promotional posters, apply suite treatments and report any stock loss or damage.
• Provide friendly customer service, assist with conflict resolution and exceed service expectations.
• Prioritise tasks, collaborate with team members and pursue personal skill development.

Required profile

• Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a general or retail support role.
• Basic knowledge of OHASA legislation, retail customer service standards and store policies.
