Factory General Worker / Tyre Fitter

About the role

As a General Worker you will perform a range of tasks related to handling, inspecting, maintaining and assembling tyres in a factory environment. The role involves physical labour, attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect tyres for defects, measure tread depth and pressure to ensure safety standards.
• Organise and maintain a clean, safe storage area, label and record tyre inventory.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, jacks and tyre‑balancing equipment while following safety protocols.
• Clean and maintain work areas, dispose of waste according to company policy.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production and quality targets and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of tyre types, sizes and handling techniques.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Fluent in English; additional local languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (certification is a plus).
