Customer Technical Services Technician

About the role

The Customer Technical Services (CTS) Technician delivers safe, reliable and high‑quality technical services across Namibia Breweries’ customer outlets in Windhoek. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, refurbishing and de‑installing draught and refrigeration assets while ensuring service quality and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, refurbish and modify CTS assets such as draught systems and refrigeration/coolers according to work instructions.
• Accurately update work orders, record time, materials, asset IDs and obtain digital customer sign‑off.
• Provide professional, timely service while minimizing outlet disruption.
• Report service outcomes, site risks, recurring faults and customer complaints to the CTS Coordinator.
• Manage stock usage, movements, asset traceability and conduct physical asset checks.
• Comply with all safety, PPE and safe‑working practices, especially for pressurised and refrigeration systems.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk faults and unsafe conditions through proper channels.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Certification in Safe Handling of Refrigerants (mandatory).
• Certification in a related technical/artisanal field such as refrigeration, electrical or mechanical (advantageous).
• At least 2 years’ experience in technical installation and maintenance of draught machinery or refrigeration equipment.
• Valid Code B/BE driver’s licence.
• Digitally literate with experience using field service systems and mobile tools.
