Customer Service Agent (German‑Speaking, Remote from Namibia)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Customer Service Agent to join our global engineering and technology company remotely from Namibia. You will be the main point of contact for our international customers, handling order processing, inquiries and after‑sales support while ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process new orders based on customer purchase orders.
• Create order confirmations and release shipments according to stock availability.
• Handle product returns, issue credit notes and follow up on overdue or duplicate payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries about pricing, lead times, tracking numbers and provide phone support in English and German.
• Maintain customer master data in the ERP system and manage internal stock transfers across warehouses.
• Support the procurement team with demand planning and assist the logistics team with inbound and outbound deliveries.

Required profile

• Commercial degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in customer service, order processing or logistics.
• Excellent German and English language skills (C2 level).
• Proactive, precise, service‑oriented attitude with strong independence.
• High organizational talent and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
