About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Advisor to provide tailored advice on a specific range of financial products to an allocated market segment. The role is individually accountable for achieving sales results while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional advice on designated financial products and identify opportunities for new business and client retention.
• Process customer cases, resolve complex queries, and investigate issues to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
• Analyze customer problems to propose technical or professional solutions.
• Receive and assist visitors, directing complex requests to appropriate colleagues.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, schedule follow‑up actions, and develop call plans to support retention and business development.
• Conduct prospecting activities, build relationships with decision‑makers, and implement relationship‑management plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory codes, and obtain supervisory approvals for any procedural exceptions.
• Monitor sales and market data for a defined geographic region to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent Old Mutual at sector events, gather market intelligence, and enhance brand visibility.
