CAMO Maintenance Planner

About the role

The CAMO Maintenance Planner is responsible for forecasting, coordinating and monitoring both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Westair's fleet. The role ensures all maintenance activities comply with CAA and manufacturer regulations and that documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance forecasts and work packs for each aircraft.
• Generate AMP Task Card work packs at least 100 flight hours or one month before due dates.
• Prepare official AMS III work packs for engineer sign‑off.
• Produce Customer Advisory letters outlining upcoming checks and out‑of‑phase items.
• Schedule Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and engineering orders according to instructions.
• Maintain aircraft records, flight folios, logbooks and certification documents.
• Perform component movements for hard‑time and on‑condition parts in the computerized system.
• Assist AMEs with queries on work orders, work packs and documentation.
• Monitor inconsistencies, report progress and propose schedule improvements.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with CAA requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CAMO or aviation maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of CAA and manufacturer regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage large volumes of technical data and documentation accurately.
• Excellent analytical skills for forecasting and schedule optimisation.
