Business Development Specialist

About the role

Eshisha AppSuite is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its team in Windhoek. The role focuses on expanding the company’s fintech solutions across banks, MFIs, SACCOs and other financial institutions in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities with target financial institutions.
• Conduct market research on emerging and rural financial sectors to shape outreach strategies.
• Prepare tailored presentations, proposals and demos that address client needs.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track performance metrics and support pilots and onboarding.
• Participate in industry events and provide ongoing customer support to drive adoption and retention.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data and market insights for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex fintech solutions.
• Proven lead‑generation ability and experience managing a structured sales pipeline.
• Solid market‑research experience in emerging or rural financial markets.
• High‑quality customer‑service orientation to build long‑term partnerships.
• Experience in fintech, banking, microfinance or related financial services is strongly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or equivalent practical experience.

• Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms.
• Basic sales reporting and forecasting capabilities.
