Business Analyst – FinWorks System Expert

About the role

The Business Analyst will act as the in‑house expert for the FinWorks platform, supporting investment administration operations. You will manage system administration, drive enhancements, and ensure data accuracy while providing user training and acting as the primary liaison with FinWorks support.

Key responsibilities

• Own FinWorks system – handle change requests, incidents, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with the vendor to shape the product roadmap and implement improvements.
• Maintain data configuration, reporting integrity and ensure compliance with cut‑off times and SLAs.
• Support portfolio administrators, finance and compliance teams with expert guidance.
• Create and update SOPs, training materials and deliver hands‑on training sessions.
• Establish process controls, operational checklists and monitor system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics or Statistics.
• 4–7 years of experience in investment operations or business analysis within an insurance or investment platform environment.
• Strong knowledge of investment administration processes such as trades, settlements, reconciliations, fees and reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel – automation, analysis and data validation.
• FinWorks platform expertise.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system change management.
