Business Analyst – FinWorks System Expert

About the role

Momentum Investments is looking for a Business Analyst to act as the in‑house expert for the FinWorks platform. The role focuses on administering, maintaining and continuously improving the system to support investment administration operations across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the FinWorks system – manage change requests, incidents and enhancement items.
• Partner with the vendor to drive roadmap initiatives and system improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, configuration and reporting integrity.
• Provide expert guidance to portfolio administrators, finance and compliance teams.
• Establish process controls, cut‑off times, SLAs and operational checklists.
• Create and maintain SOPs and training materials for all FinWorks‑related functions.
• Deliver hands‑on training, build user competency and promote knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics or Statistics.
• 4–7 years of experience in investment operations or business analysis within an insurance or investment platform environment.
• Strong understanding of investment administration processes such as trades, settlements, reconciliations, fees and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage system changes, user‑acceptance testing and vendor communications.

Required skills

• FinWorks platform expertise.
• Advanced Excel (automation, analysis and validation).
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency.
• Experience with UAT and system change management.
