Automation Developer – Low‑Code & RPA Solutions

About the role

FNB is seeking an Automation Developer to design, build, test, deploy and maintain low‑code solutions that improve operational efficiency across its banking processes. The role focuses on translating business requirements into robust RPA and AI‑enabled workflows using Microsoft Power Platform and related tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end low‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio and RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism.
• Build reusable workflows, notifications and forms to reduce manual effort and improve control.
• Perform unit, integration testing and resolve defects before deployment.
• Monitor solution performance, handle incidents and maintain version control and documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, process owners and technology teams to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Apply OCR and intelligent document‑processing capabilities and integrate AI services where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in low‑code development, automation or process engineering.
• Experience in financial services or banking is an advantage.
• Knowledge of information architecture, data modelling and data‑quality concepts.
