Account Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Account Specialist to join our team in Windhoek. The role focuses on analysing service performance, cost data and customer requirements to drive joint efficiencies and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and Vector’s Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Administration teams.
• Collect, analyse and report on service level agreements, volume and value trends, and over‑stocking situations.
• Monitor sales performance, SKU trends, new product introductions and expiry risks, working closely with planning and VSS.
• Prepare and update business review calendars, compile performance templates and present insights to customers.
• Conduct competitive market research and contribute to tactical projects such as vehicle turnaround times and inbound service improvements.
• Identify efficiency opportunities and joint projects that enhance both customer and Vector profitability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal departments and external customers.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple reporting cycles and deadlines.
