Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will join Rossouw Röver and Associates in Namibia to lead cost management across construction projects. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on accurate cost planning, analysis and reporting to ensure projects stay within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for all project phases.
• Monitor and control project costs, providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
• Analyse cost data, evaluate financial outcomes and suggest corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, engineering and construction teams to align budgets with project goals.
• Produce detailed cost reports and forecasts for clients and consultants.

Required profile

• Namibian citizen, permanent resident or domicile (married to a Namibian).
• BSc (QS) (Hons) with 1‑3 years of professional experience.
• Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with NAQS/SACQSP (proof required).
• Strong analytical, numerical and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for client and consultant interaction.

• Proficiency in WinQS.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Package (Office suite).
