Business Support Specialist – MIS (Retail)

About the role

The Business Support Specialist (MIS – Retail) will research, identify and develop growth opportunities within existing business portfolios. You will use data insights and stakeholder collaboration to improve performance and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely management information, business intelligence and performance reports.
• Extract, cleanse, analyse and report data to support collections performance and decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards and data models that deliver meaningful business insights.
• Distribute daily, monthly and ad‑hoc reports to stakeholders on schedule.
• Support and manage dialler campaigns to optimise collections and customer contact strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Resolve reporting and system issues while ensuring data integrity, governance and compliance.
• Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to align with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in MIS, reporting, business intelligence or data analytics within banking or financial services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication.
