Store Manager – Retail Operations Leader

About the role

ACDC Express is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while upholding brand standards. The role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong commercial acumen and people‑management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including housekeeping, merchandising, stock control and inventory efficiency.
• Oversee financial performance: budget management, sales analysis, profitability reporting and cost control.
• Drive sales targets, build customer and supplier relationships, and resolve queries professionally.
• Lead, motivate and develop the store team through scheduling, coaching, performance management and training.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Franchise Service Consultant, Marketing team and HR on promotions, staffing and employee matters.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent; a qualification in Business or Retail Management is advantageous.
• 3–5 years retail experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership, communication and financial management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Familiarity with payroll and accounting software.
