Senior HSE Advisor

About the role

Lycopodium is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join its global team. Reporting to the Group HSE Manager, you will provide specialist advice and support to ensure projects are delivered safely, responsibly and in line with statutory, client and industry requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective HSE culture across the organisation and its projects.
• Develop, implement, maintain and report on HSE policies and procedures.
• Ensure all site activities prioritise health, safety, environment, community and industrial relations.
• Lead, manage and support teams to achieve the highest safety standards.
• Foster strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors.

Required profile

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in HSE management within mineral processing or related industries.
• Namibian citizen or permanent resident.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and sustain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality results.
• Track record of meeting high standards within budget and schedule constraints.
