Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team within the External Relations department. You will act as a strategic finance partner, supporting global leaders with revenue modeling, budgeting, and data‑driven insights to advance the organization’s humanitarian mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, reporting and analysis projects with minimal supervision.
• Build and maintain robust revenue and expense models.
• Generate performance insights, track progress, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide strategic decision‑making support for critical initiatives, including business case development.
• Develop strong command of data and systems that enable FP&A delivery (e.g., Power BI, Integra, Salesforce).
• Produce high‑quality deliverables such as spreadsheets, decks, memos, and analyses.
• Confidently present analysis and recommendations to global leaders.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders across the organization, building trusted relationships.
