About the role
We are seeking a Relationship Manager to lead a portfolio of Corporate and Commercial Banking clients in Namibia. The role involves acting as the primary trusted advisor, understanding client objectives, and delivering tailored financial solutions that drive long‑term value.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and commercial banking clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities and deliver customized banking solutions.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess evolving needs, risks, and growth potential.
- Collaborate with credit, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks.
- Support business growth through client retention, wallet‑share expansion, and strategic relationship development.
- Maintain market awareness across key sectors such as mining, agriculture, engineering, oil & gas, and professional services.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Agriculture, Geology or a related field.
- Post‑graduate qualification (Honours, Master’s, MBA) or professional certifications (CFA, CA(SA), CIMA) is advantageous.
- Approximately 5–7 years of experience in relationship management or corporate banking.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and credit understanding.
- Open to high‑calibre professionals from outside traditional banking with strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Namibian citizenship or willingness to relocate to Namibia.
