About the role

Mediclinic is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team and deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care. The role involves working across specialised wards, supporting patient safety, and contributing to a positive care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi‑disciplinary team.
• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse Certificate (essential).
• 2–3 years of nursing experience (essential).
• For specialised wards, completion of CPD courses in the relevant speciality (desired).
• One year post‑qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit (desired).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support trained.
• Infection prevention and control knowledge.
• Pharmacology understanding.
• Scientific nursing principles and processes.
• Patient assessment skills.
• Nursing processes and procedures.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with relevant nursing legislation.
• Nursing care plan development.
• Risk identification capabilities.
