Commissioned Financial Advisor – Insurance & Wealth Solutions

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Advisor to help individuals, corporates and institutions achieve their financial objectives. The role focuses on delivering tailored advice, building high‑net‑worth client relationships and driving sales of Old Mutual’s product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and solutions to clients in line with the customer value proposition and compliance framework.
• Develop, track and review a business plan to meet personal performance targets.
• Prospect and acquire new clients within allocated markets while retaining existing business.
• Manage a portfolio of client relationships and product holdings across Old Mutual solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, process cases, resolve complex queries and handle visitor enquiries.
• Analyse client needs, prepare tailored presentations and enter follow‑up actions into the CRM system.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with at least 23 points in commerce or an ORA degree (NQF Level 7) in business/commercial fields.
• Minimum three years’ experience in business management, insurance or financial services.
• Namibian citizenship and a recent police clearance (≤ 3 months).
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
• Ability to leverage high‑net‑worth networks, strong numerical aptitude and professional presentation.
• Willingness to work on a commission basis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
